He graduated from Grand Valley State University with an Economics Degree and began working for a large road construction contractor in the Grand Rapids area. After working and gaining experience he quit his job to start Pride and bring a fresh take to the dirt world. He and his brother also own Pride Landscape Supply LLC

Dane is the co-owner of Pride Property Services. Dane started his career off as an elementary school teacher after graduating from Grand Valley State University. He joined the business in the summer of 2021 and decided to stay with the company rather than teach. Dane's primary duties are running the day to day operations at Pride Landscape Supply LLC.
